HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 15

Urging the United States Congress to require the Veterans Administration to serve dependents of all veterans on a space available basis in its hospitals.

Whereas, Many veterans are not able to afford necessary health insurance that will furnish sufficient health care for their families; and
Whereas, Many veterans' family members needlessly suffer curable or easily controlled medical conditions because of their lack of access to proper health care; and
Whereas, Veterans Administration Hospitals may be the only place where many of these individuals can receive the sufficient health care they need; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Legislature urges the United States Congress to require the Veterans Administration to serve dependents of all veterans on a space available basis in its hospitals; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates forward copies of this resolution to the Clerk of the United States House of Representatives, the Secretary of the United States Senate, and to each member of the West Virginia Congressional Delegation.
